Trane Provides Chillers to FAU Under PACT
Trane South Florida will continue its long relationship with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with a $1.8 million chiller replacement project.
Under a PACT (Performance Agreement for Comfort from Trane), Trane assisted the university with its application for grant funding under ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act). Next it will replace two 1250-ton water-cooled centrifugal chillers (of the five chillers in the central cooling plant) and install other equipment and perform services at the school’s 2.5-million-square-foot campus in Boca Raton.
